Answer Questions for Money With These 6 Apps

Start earning money on your phone by simply answering simple questions -- it's a no brainer.

Can you really answer questions for money? Yes. It’s called a paid survey, and plenty of legit apps will pay you for your opinion.

You won’t get rich. Most surveys pay a little, and you’ll get screened out of some. But you can do it from your couch, and the best apps let you cash out once you’ve made $5.

Personally, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve searched old wallets, cupholders in my car, looking for spare change. I’m here to tell you I’ve found a better way.

1. Freecash

Brands pay Freecash for your opinion, and Freecash passes part of that on to you. You pick which surveys you want to take.

What puts it first is how fast it pays. PayPal and Venmo payouts usually process the same day, and gift card codes typically land by email within minutes.

When you run out of surveys, there are games and app offers to keep you going. Most people earn a few dollars up to around $50 in a typical month.

2. Survey Junkie

Working with online market research companies to answer questions for money is a no-brainer! You definitely won’t get rich with paid online surveys alone, but you won’t waste much time, and you can make some money the easy way.

Survey Junkie is my favorite free survey site for your phone that pays you to take online surveys, participate in focus groups, and try new products.

You can cash out starting at $5, which is 500 points, through PayPal, a bank transfer or a gift card. Every survey shows its points and how long it takes before you start.

And if you get screened out of a survey, you still get a few points for trying.

3. Bigcash

Bigcash is an offer wall with more than 3,000 offers on it, and surveys are part of the mix along with games and apps.

Most offers take 5 to 10 minutes. You’re paid in coins, 250 coins is $1, and you can swap them for real money or a gift card.

4. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another app to answer questions for money in your free time. You can also get paid to play games, shop online and scan grocery receipts.

Points turn into PayPal cash or gift cards.

One thing to know about the $10 welcome bonus: you have to activate it and spend at least $25 at a featured store within 30 days of signing up. Answering surveys alone won’t unlock it.

5. InboxDollars

The next thing you can do is sign up for InboxDollars, which pays you in cash to watch videos and answer questions for money.

It shows your balance in dollars, not points, so you always know what you’ve made. It’s a slow earner, so use it on your lunch break or during TV commercials.

6. Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys asks for information about you so that they can match you with fitting surveys so you can answer questions for money.

You get 100 points as a welcome bonus, and you can cash out at 500 points, which is $5. It pays by PayPal, bank transfer or gift card.

How much can you make? Its own estimate is $5 to $100 a month, depending on how many surveys you qualify for. Most of them take 5 to 20 minutes.

How Much Can You Make Answering Questions?

Not a lot, and anyone who tells you different is selling something.

Think of it as $5 here and $10 there. The way to make it add up is to sign up for three or four of these, only take the surveys that pay well for the time, and cash out as soon as you hit the minimum.

Would you rather play than answer questions? Mistplay gives you points for playing mobile games on Android and iPhone, and you trade them for gift cards. There are also plenty of other game apps to win real money.

It’s Your Time to Take Quizzes for Money

Bottom line: If you are going to make money on the internet, it’s going to take some effort on your part. Start with Freecash and Survey Junkie, add one more, and see what your first week looks like.
